Varieties of Charts -
Sudarshan Chakrasudarshan Chakra
Parashara describes a special chart that allows to analyze us the chart from the Lagna, from the Moon and from the Sun. This chart is called the Sudarshan chakra. It is drawn in a round format. It is depicted in the Sudarshan Chakra report.
Each house is read from the Ascendant, from the Moon and from the Sun, to create a comprehensive analysis from multiple points of reference. The student of Parashara, who has a dialog with Parashara asks a very interesting and relevant question: "if all the house are to be judged from the Sudarshana, why many learned sages have recommended to interpret the houses from the Ascendant in the birth chart?"
And Parashara answers that the Sudarshan chakra should only be used when the Ascendant, Sun and Moon are all in different signs. Calculation of Sudarshan dashas The Sudarshan chakra can also be used to make yearly, monthly and daily predictions. Every house is given a dasha period of 1 year. In the 1st year of life the Ascendant has its dasha, in the 2nd year the 2nd house has it's dasha etc. At the age of 12, the Ascendant will again have a dasha of a year, and so on.

Within each dasha, there are 12 antardashas of one month each. The first month is the antardasha of the house that is running the dasha. The second month is the antardasha of the 2nd houses as counted from the mahadasha, etc.

Each month is again divided in 12 Pratyantardashas of 2 ½ days. The first Pratyantardasha is the same as the antardasha, the second is the 2nd house as counted from the antardasha, etc.Finally, each Pratyantardasha of 2 ½ days is divided in 5 hour intervals (12 ½ Ghatikas). Interpreting Sudarshan dashas

The interpretation of the Sudarshan dasha is based on the placement of the Grahas as counted from the house that is running its dasha.

Dashas - How to predict using Dashas
How to predict using dashas There is a vast set of rules that can be used in the interpretation of dashas, but what we present here is a small, manageable set of the most important ones. 1. A dasha will give the results according to its position in the chart.This is the most straightforward rule of all; whatever potential a Graha indicates in the chart, that is what it will manifest in it's dasha period. The house position, lordships, aspects, yogas, and whatever else you use in interpreting the Graha's effects, can all be used for making dasha predictions.

2. Considering the dasha lord as Lagna, the dasha will be according to the chart.If you consider the dasha lord as Lagna, read the 12 houses relative from that Lagna. Look for any striking features in the chart; are any of the houses particularly strong or weak? What houses does the dasha lord rule when it is considered as Lagna? Where is the "new" Lagna lord placed?

3. The dasha will be according to the dasha lord in transit.It is very important to consider the position in transit during the course of the dasha. Various contrasting effects that are expected within the same dasha may come about when the dasha lord transits the houses that relate to those effects. In general, when positive effects are expected, they could manifest when the Dasha lord transits through the kendras and trikona houses. When the natal position and other consideration give reason to predict negative events, those may come about when the dasha lord transits Dusthana houses (6, 8 and 12).

4. Yogas manifest in the Maha and Antar dasha of the yoga forming planets.Any Grahas that form a yoga with the Maha dasha lord, will manifest that yoga during it's antar dasha. With yoga, any noteworthy interaction or combination is meant. For example, two Grahas may be conjunct, and the result of that conjunction (whatever your prediction is) will manifest when one of these two is Mahadasha, and the other is the Antardasha.

5. Weak planets will give weak results, strong planets give strong results.Grahas that are weak in Shad Bala, will not be able to take their promises up to full fledged manifestation. Such dasha period may have the flavor of what the Graha indicates, but the matters will not come about fully. Strong Grahas however, will manifest their potential clearly and pronounced, and bring about concrete happenings.

6. Nothing can happen that is not indicated in the chart.Regardless of what of kind prediction you come up with using the above rules, it will not come true unless the potential is there in the chart. A person who has a chart that indicates great wealth throughout life, will not become poor because the Mahadasha rules the 12th house and transits the 8th! Make predictions that make sense in the context of the overall chart and what you know about the person's social status.

The Usui System of Natural Healing has evolved over time. In its present state, it is much more organized than the intuitive method practiced by Dr. Usui. In the following paragraphs we are going to learn about the evolution of the Usui System of Reiki.

How to select Mean/True motion for Rahu & Ketu
Traditionally Astrologers use Mean positions of Rahu & Ketu. However, there is an increasing trend of using the True positions of the planetary nodes in modern day astrologers. There is a very slight difference between the mean and true positions, ranging from a couple of seconds to a few minutes.
To change Rahu & Ketu motion calculation:

Click on either True or Mean depending on the formula you want.

• Wrong Ayanamsha Choosen
  Horoscope Explorer gives you the option to choose between Lahiri (Chitrapakshiya), BV Raman, KP and Sayan Ayanamshas. The Ayanamsh value changes the planetary longitudes, and should be selected carefully. Here are the recommended Ayanamshas.
  
  North India - Lahiri
  South India - KP or Raman
  Sayan is the planetary longitude without any Ayanamsha deductionm and is not generally used.
  
• Wrong Longitude/Latitude
  The planetary values are modified according to the longitude and the latitude of the birth place. If you fill in wrong details in longitude and latitudes, you may get wrong results. Here's what you should check.
  
  - Longitudes and Latitudes are not zero. If the city you fill in is not in the database, Horoscope Explorer will initialize the longitude and the latitude of the place to zero. Make sure the values are not zero, and if they're zero, please find the correct longitude and latitude and fill them in.
  
  - Wrong GMT Time Difference - If you are generating the horoscope for foreign born individual, please check that the GMT time difference of the country is fed accurately. Horoscope Explorer may give wrong results if this detail is not accurate.
